"Woman
as Butterfly" is a truly motivational documentary film
of the life of Ann Saint John Hawley.
This
is the creative journey of a mother of six who finds herself
in her 70's with her children and lifelong partner gone. But
instead of shrinking from life, she blossoms, relishing
her freedom and coming into her own. Ann is aging very gracefully
and without a hint of regret about raising her six children
and looking after her dying husband, she now commits this
time late in her life to herself and her art. Ann dances
Butoh, paints, and has embraced printmaking. Woman as
Butterfly is a great inspirational gift for mom, women, sister
